I have been writing since I could use a pencil, eventually following the sage advice of the Josephite nuns who urged me to “become a writer” at school (not least because I had mastered the art of scribbling 200 lines at lunchtime for talking too much in class!).
I enjoy telling stories using both fiction and non-fiction, and a few different handles so my readers don’t get confused about the genres and subjects I’m exploring.
I have published three books, two of which I have co-written, and have contributed to several others. I have a few new projects on the boil, which you can find out about by subscribing to my newsletter. I also write short stories and dabble in the horror genre, most recently with the well-received Army Dreamers.
When I’m not writing, I’m editing – usually my own work, but I do edit book manuscripts from time to time when my schedule allows. I occasionally tweet news and nonsense over on Twitter. Feel free to follow me and join in the conversation!
